Well we went today for the scan, it was really great but little madam decided to be in a bad position with her leg up around her head and the placenta muffled in her face, then she moved and the cord was in front of her face!! Typical difficult girl already!!!!!!
Anyway I had to leave the room at least 4 times to go and run up and down the stairs, do some moving about to try and get her to change position but she wasnt having any of it! We were there for over an hour and a half in the end (last one of the day) and got the dvd for half price as theres only 7 mins of footage rather than 10-15 what we would have got if she played ball! Also she gave us 13 pics, and we ended up paying less so all in all I cant complain about that! However due to being laid on my back I started to get hot flushes and thought I was going to pass out and at the end I couldnt really enjoy it as I was worried I was going to faint so that wasnt too great.I believe it was due to laying on a particular vein that caused me to feel dizzy, they say after a certain number of weeks you should avoid laying on the back.
So we left as the lady said I had been there long enough and as I was feeling rough I was so pleased to be getting outside!
My 8 year old enjoyed being there, he was saying how bubba looked freaky etc, but then at times she did hehe.
I really enjoyed the scan apart from feeling ill, that spoiled it for me near the end when we were starting to get some good movement but hey ho, these things arent predictable are they, baby will do what baby wants to!
