Just back from my midwife appointment and thankfully the baby is head down now And she's 4/5 palpable? Can someone tell me what this means? I also found out that I'm now anaemic (sp) so had to have even more blood taken I was quite disappointed with the appointment though Dunno what i expected though...i just get dead excited beforehand and imagine they are going to say "Oh my gosh....your in labour already!!! But no such luck
That means that the midwife can feel 4/5th of the babys head and that 1/5th is in your pelvis. When you are 1/5 then you are fully engaged and ready.
Aww I used to look forward to all mine and get dead excited then nothing really happens & ur dead disappointed, not sure exactly what i expected to happen tho!! haha
