MWs today...and a question

I have +1 ketone. They only finished rehydrating me on saturday! It's not enough to need a drip again though so hopefully I'll be able to keep on top of it. Baby has turned

He's head down, although not in a perfect position, he's oblique, so laying diagonally rather than vertical. Then we got to fundal height measuring time...I'm betting it will come as no surprise to anyone that bump is too small. So off for a growth scan I go tomorrow.

The midwife asked me if anyone had mentioned me measuring behind before, so I was like..no. Although I asked at my last appointment if I needed a growth scan because I was measuring behind and she said no

Anyways, I last saw the midwife at 31+1 and I was measuring 29cm, today I'm still measuring 29cm at near enough 35 weeks. Growth scan is at 3.30 tomorrow. I can't say I'm surprised...I've been saying for weeks that surely me keeping nothing down must be impacting on baby's size

Does anyone know if I need to take a urine sample with me tomorrow?

i would take one just incase i had growth scans every 1 for the first then 2 weeks for a while with my lo and i had to bring samples x

Take one just in case. So glad he's turned for you - I know you were getting a bit nervous about that.

I'm sure the scan will be fine - I said it before but we dont all have average sized babies

^^^ thats right everyone is different they wanted to take zander out at 35 weeks coz they said he was too small but they give him a chance and a week before the birth the midwife was tellin me he would be 6lbs max and he was 8lbs 3oz hahahaha turned out he was just really long x x

Wow, that's really far off!!

I shall take a sample just in case, I'm crap at doing them on demand, I end up weeing all over my hand xx

with me being sick too my bump was measuring behind but babys growth was perfect!! actually a lil big haha bring peepot!! xx

glad the ketone are going down i know where your coming fromwith my 2nd my ketones were +3 if not more cant remember. i was in hospital on drips, tablets etc it never really went. i was measuring small because i just couldnt eat!!! but he ended up being a healthy 7lbs 2oz. hope the fact the ketones are down the sickness goes xx
