muscles feel like they are platting together OUCH IT HURTS :'( HELP

been to midwife today and shes booked me in for a sweep in a weeks time (hoping i dont need it) but i've been getting tightening pains in the top of my bump like my muscles are being platted together and then as that eases up i get period like pains really low down and back ache and it all starts with sharp pains in my foo is this labour starting or should i be worried it hurts so much i was timing the pains last night and they were 15 mins apart and lasting exactly 1.41 everytime any help would be greatly appreciated

No experience but think your symptoms sound promising!!
