Mucus Plug (Prob TMI!)

Last night after my bath i noticed what felt like normal discharge down there but when I wiped it was like the colour my midwife said a mucus plug is, snotty green (sorry!) it was only one blob so i didnt think anything of it.

But today at my antenatal class ppl were saying that when u lose it it means labour is close. But ive only lost a bit? Does this mean anything do u think? Ive still got 24 days left, is it too early?

Dont fret chick you can lose little bits of it for ages before you would know if you lost it completely there would be quite alot and also it often stays formed! Nice if you worried though go to MW sure she would have a quick peek

I lost mine at 38wks and still had to get induced at term + 13! Dont worry hun... baby will come when it's good and ready!

I had exactly the same thing last week and the midwife said just to keep and eye on it as if it happened again then i would need to go to my GP for a swab as green can also = infection.

I lost mine the day before i went into labour, it was in bits & was quite lumpy solidy stuff but I never had loads of it.....

well you are very close hun maybe LO will make an arrival soon. A friend of mine lost hers and didnt have her daughter for a few more weeks

My midwife said today its snotty coloured, before that i had thought it would be pink.. bet it varies
