Right i hear everyone saying 10 movements in 10 hours but what do you class as one movement, like 1 kick=1 or one group of movements=1. I know it sounds stupid but i have always been unsure about it and wanted to knowif anyone could clear this uop for me, thanks :D

OH & i always argue about this! when he has a little dance about, i say something like, 'see, that was 8 movements!' but he only counts it was one. i have no idea, but i reckon that if babies jigging about he's alright in there!

this is a very good question, and to be honest i have no idea :?

both my MW and consultant said that one kick is one movement.
If he punches and kicks me thats 2, and so on .... :D

I had this same thing with DD. But the doctor at the time told me that 10 movements in so many hours etc is old hat and you should only be worried if you notice anything different in baby's usual movements. :)

according to my middy notes, if there is a group of moves close together, you count it as one so a jiggle-kick-wiggle is one movement!

So when my little man hiccups at least 30 times (4 times a day), does that count as 120 movements as it makes my whole stomach move..... :D
