When did you start to feel a pattern in your baby's movements? I have heard that they should start to follow a similar pattern daily which helps you to "count the kicks" and be able to tell if something may be wrong.

Being nearly 28 weeks I honestly thought I would have a proper pattern going on but she can go days with little movement and others with non stop movements where I feel like I am getting bruises from her kicks. This is starting to get me a little worried and just want to see where others are at before actually getting full on stressed out about it.

my little peanut has just started kicking properly... and it at the moment it is totally random... i am sure it is nothing to worry about hon, some babies dont have a pattern, and it can depend on whether you have a set time to eat etc too... xxx

We seem to have a definate routine Monday to Friday probably because I have a definate routine for work so I know when she'll be awake etc but weekends are a bit more go with the flow as I may sleep in/be up super early etc
Also I don't feel so much when I'm standing so doing the housework etc she will seem quiet

Hmm I think I have a bit of a pattern going on.
She's lively after I've ate breakfast but she'll still be fast asleep if I don't eat most of the time.
She's lively at night too (especially half an hour ago! She kicked super hard a few times). I'm not sure if it's a pattern or just coincidence xxx

My LO doesn't seem to have a pattern, sometimes i have days where she's really active and others where she barely moves and at first i worried, especially as i have a doppler and couldn't find the heartbeat. I was sat at work getting myself worked up and considering calling my midwife and all of a sudden she proper booted me!

I've noticed that my LO doesn't tend to move much when people are talking atound me, especially if people want to see her and i tell them she's moving! I think she stops to listen to us, she's fine with the TV but doesn't move to music, and she's made a pointed lack of all movement if my nan's around  I also think sometimes i don't notice the little movements because i'm busy doing things, like the other day my OH was giggling cos she was moving slightly and i couldn't even feel it cos i was concentrating!

To check if she is ok, i will have a cold drink and/or something sugary to eat and then lie on my side for a bit and concentrate on what she's doing. She always moves around then, they're just often smaller ones i wouldn't feel if i was distracted by anything
