Monitored last night and scan today

38+5 today and moo had been much quieter since Friday. Yes id felt her move but seemed so much more quiet.

i know i was being paranoid as some of you know our friends had tragic loss at 39+6 days so this was on my mind,

anyway went to maternity triage around 7pm last night they were fab.
Typically Moo decides to start moving lots 10mins after monitor goes on! not so much kicks anymore just squirms as running out of room.
they checked mummy im all ok although she said that i have lucosights? ( white blood cells)
in my urine which might be infection or just discharge. get results tomz, really odd as midwife checked it on wed and all ok?

anyway she knew about my friend so they have booked me in for a scan today at 2.20pm to check on placenta , fluid levels and growth, i was so shocked tbh that they are doing this
she understood being an older first time ivf mum how worried i was.

she said if they were worried they would induce me early eeekk.. bit nervous now but grateful that they are checking us so closely

That's really good that they're being so thorough - they've obviously taken your concerns on board and are doing what they can to put your mind at rest which must be really reasuring.

thanks hunny, NHS get knocked but we have had such good care during pregnancy
am a little nervous now am going on my own as partner as work, am sure all be fine but u always have some little doubt dont you.
be nice to see little one again mind u shes fully engaged so not sure how much ill see of her, maybe her bum!!

yes i think so i was more than happy with the monitoring last night but she said ill scan u for placenta and fluid. really pleased tbh.... xx

Same thing happened with me re urine. Checked one day all fine, next couple of days when I went to be induced, they found leucocytes. They never got bak to me so assumed all fine. Glad they are giving you so much attention. Moo is coming soon xxx

How great that they are doing that, really is good that you feel you're being looked after and rightly so! It's so awful when tragic things happen to the people around us and understandably that is going to make you more anxious / nervous.
My sister in law had a still born due to undetected diabetes and its made me so paranoid that every little thing is a "symptom" suppose we've got to stay head strong and trust our body. Hope all goes ok with the scan xx

Hey Hun that's great they are taking good care of u it'll put ur mind at ease! I've found my lo has been the same a bit quieter but I think its just his movement has changed as running out of room felt him loads this morning so I'm happy! Let us know how ur scan goes x

Yes they've got another boy now, they took her in at 38 weeks for c section due to understandable anxiety and all was fine thank goodness, I really just need to not let my head run away with horrible thoughts.

Morning, scan went well yesterday phew.

Checked placenta and is looking good for 38+5 days. flow to baby was checked and no problems
fluid checked they expect to see at least 3cm i had 5cm so she has enough fluid there
checked heart chambers all good
checked measurements - shes had a growth spurt and her tummy has got bigger, which means shes eating well ha... but they estimated her to be 8lb 10oz already!!!!!!!!! so looks like i might be having a 9 pounder
her bladder was full which means shes drinking and weeing which is good
and she was doing practice breathing on and off as her diaphragm was moving on and off which was mad
shes head down but laying sideways so hopefully she will move soon!!!
put my mind at ease for sure.

Haylian i am so glad that your sister in law finally got a good outcome and blessed with a little boy xxx

Ah I'm glad all was ok, I bet you feel so much better now and not long until you'll have moo in your arms so you can see for yourself that she's perfect! I wouldn't worry about the size, I dont think they're very accurate from what I've heard xx
