Don't really like talkng about this, but over the past few weeks I've noticed my... erm, flaps are kind of puffy and sensitive. Inside, they're definitely darker and more purpely than I remember. Is this caused by more blood flow and the pressure of the baby's head down below?

I would say yes. I remember when I was preg with dd, I noticed the same sort of thing so I phone the antenatal ward to ask them about it. They said it all changes down there due to being pregnant.

My "bits" looked totally different during pregnancy. Everything seemed swollen and darker in colour. A lot of this is down to hormones.
-Fortunately it does all return to normal afterwards.

Thanks for your replies, ladies! I only had my DD three years ago, but you'd be surprised how many little details I'd forgotten...like this puffy minge syndrome. Maybe that's the way it's supposed to be....we forget so that we'll willingly go through it all again!

P.S. I can't see mine either! I have to squat over a mirror!
