I had it with my first child and in all honesty I didn't like it. It made me feel really really tired but didn't seem to take any of the pain away - Though I believe its more of a relaxant than anything else, so I suppose it wouldn't have!
hi hun, i've read about this too, i was going to look into it as i'm wary about taking pain relief during labour bc of the effects to baby.. apparantly meptid is simliar to pethidine, but doesn't have the side effects on baby?
