i hate waiting for the consultant i found out last week they dont actually book you a slot its first come first served, so i found going later was better as less people waiting!

my time to see him was 2:45 and i didnt end up going in till an hour later im glad its the last time i have to see him lol just waiting for my section date now

i cant believe im only just over 6 weeks maximum of 7 weeks away! you lot are so much closer!

my hospital just tell me to arrive at half past 1 and wait to be seen! its a fudge on cos normally my scan is at like 10.20 and i have to wait about and take time out of work

Nikki i bet they induce you at nearly 38 weeks

unfortunately not lol soonest i could get a date for was the 11th may only 4 days before my due date! im a bit gutted that ive got to wait 3 more weeks but at least the end is in sight lol

ive had massive pressure in my foof and bum yesterday and today lol they said at my scan she was engaged so that might be why

I think my Lil one will be early. No one at work thinks I'm going to go full 40 weeks they all predict next week lol. I had another hour of painful BH again lol slightly more intense than last timel. I'm fairly sure she's engaged.

What are your thoughts on induction before due date? I've been recommended induction at 39 weeks. At the moment I've declined and they have agreed I can wait until 40 weeks and that is what they have booked me in for but I can change my mind if I want and go sooner. They aren't keen at all for me to go over (combination of treatment pregnancy, failing my gtt even though all my bloods and tests are fine, and my age). I had a scan today and baby is very slightly measuring under the 50th centile.

Snowbee - If they were trying to induce me for those reasons I would probably also decline. The gtt would slightly concern me but with normal results all the way through plus a baby that is showing an average weight I would think it's irrelevant?!
However you obvs know more about these individual factors than I do. Personally I would try to avoid induction that early pury for fear it wouldn't work and I would have to have a section and that's my biggest fear. Plenty of people have successful inductions at 39 weeks though! It's a difficult decision for you. I don't envy you having to decide! Xx

i think i want to try natural if i go early my consultant wants me to just have a csection but i dont think ill be able to decide till it happens lol

Snowbee, if they offered to induce me at 39 weeks I would take it but I am really uncomfortable and literally can't feel my fingers from terrible carpal tunnel and I am so swollen in feet and ankles that it's painful. C section doesn't worry me though but I do get what missyeovil is saying, if induction fails then that is obv the step they'd take.
I did want to avoid induction but it is likely I will be induced at 40 weeks. Now that I know it's an option I want it done if bubs doesn't come before then, mine is the fact that it's an IVF baby. Did they say the reason to you that they induce for fertility treatment babies? Xx
