Just wondering what kind of maternity leave we are all entitled to and when we will be stopping work.
Here, I get 18 weeks maternity leave, two weeks of which I have to take before my confinement. In my job (teaching) that isn't so bad, as a matter of fact it's very good, meaning that I will go back to school for a week after Christmas (depending on how my driving is and the roads are, I drive 20 miles of a rural road to work and it's awful). Then my easter holidays and mid term breaks are not counted as part of maternity leave which means that I work around them, and if all goes well I won't be back to work until two weeks before the term finishes in June.
