i'm just wondering how many maternity things you have all got.

as its getting warmer now my normal instinct is to go out and buy lots of summery clothes but my mum keeps telling me its a waste of time as i only have 10 weeks to go max unless he comes early. it wasn't too bad over the winter months as my normal clothes still fit me but i have absolutely nothing to wear now its hot outside. i have a nice pair of black jeans and a pair of blue but i'm finding them a bit uncomfortable now so i have 3 pairs of comfy pants that i think i will live in now for the next few weeks and i only have 5 tops to wear. is this enough do you think? i think i'd have more but i'm so fussy and the choice of clothes out there isn't exactly a wide variety and the only shop i find i like is dorothy perkins. i should probably make do with that and put money away for afterwards to spend on normal clothes. guess i'm just a bit of a clothes freak and love to have a big choice in my wardrobe to choose from :D

I bought a couple of pairs of linen trousers for the warmer weather although they are still a bit big - I keep having to pull them up. A couple of vesty type tops and also a black dress for slightly more formal occasions.

I've also got a few maxi dresses from last summer which are absolutely ideal as there is no restriction on the belly.

I'm still wearing my maternity jeans, i have 3 pairs, along with some "combats" which are a normal size 10, some maternity linen cropped trousers, and my usual cropped trousers which do up under my bump. I then have lots of shorts which are stretchy that i've had for ages, oh and two normal knee length skirts which fit underbump

All my tops are normal ones except one which cost £1 lol

I refuse to buy any more clothes until shes here now

I bought 2 light short sleeved smock type tops in a sale the other day. £10 the 2 and thats about it. A couple of XL cheap tee shirts for round the house and the smock tops to go out and about in.

I am due any time so they will be good for after LO arrives also while I get back into shape and until I can fit into my old clothes. I don't plan on buying anything else as tbh, I just can't be arsed

Well i cant comment because nearly all my clothes now are maternity and the others are left waiting for me to get back in shape after baby.
I meet up with a friend every week in the shopping centre where new look has a MASSIVE maternity range so now i own it all, at least i'll be ok for summer.

I dont have much choice at the moment.
Most of my Maternity clothes are what I used when pregnant with DS1 (who is now 4) and DS2( who is 2 on the 26th) BUT I am SO huge this time round, I have outgrown EVERYTHING. I've gone from a size6 maternity to a size 14 Maternity, and even they are getting tight and I still have 8 weeks to go!

I only buy stuff in Sales. But also New Look do some really nice and comfy Black Maternity trousers only £10 a pair. I have 3 of these. I also have a pair of Next Jeans I picked up in an Outlet store for £7

Tops, I dont have any Maternity tops. I find Long T-shirt/ Floaty tops and tunic type tops fit perfectly over a bump and are long enough. I find my Cheap tops in Primark! Usually only a couple of pound each, or even £1 if in their sale.

I avoid Dorothy Perkins and Next. They're TOO expensive.
I also have a long denim skirt which I bought off ebay a few weeks ago, again, only cost me a few £. :D :D

Go for cheap stuff and then it's not such a waste!

Also have you heard of bump bands? They are like boob tubes (lol) which you wear around your belly so that if your old tops are a little short then you don't flash your belly at people... lol. I love my bump bands! I only own one 'official' maternity top!

i've got a couple of skirts, two pairs of linen trousers amd tow pairs of comabt shorts. But loads of tps to give variety.

Got it all off ebay over the winter wehn summer stuff was selling much cheaper.

there is no where by me that sells maternity stuff

we went to b'ham on monday but it was all so exspensive and i only have 3 wks to go (well til my due date)

so i went to matalan and got a couple of big tops, size 16 for £4 each and they are so comfy, then if i need the nxt size up in a couple of weeks £4 isnt too bad, ebay is also good but you cant try stuff on before you buy so get measurements 8)
