anyone had this? i;ve got a lump on my boob and it's real sore can't see doc until monday tho

I got it when I was breastfeeding james, my boobs got a red rash all over them and ached. I thought it occured when there's a build of of breast milk cos the breast isn't being emptied properly.
Didn't know you could get in in pregnancy either, I'd ask your midwife to take a look

I got it twice after Jake was born. My boob went really red and sore and I got flu-like symptoms, like aching limbs and shivering and sweating. Dont you have a non-emergency midwife number you can ring?

Ya learn something new everyday... i was under the impression that you coud onlyl get it when feeding.... How simple i am

it doesn't sound like matiitus but may be a blocked duct soak warm flannel on and massage area


if no better get it checked out but your boobs are changing all teh time through pregnancy

it's eased now so think it was just a blocked milk duct, thanks girls
