Makena injections to help prevent preterm birth

Not sure if there was already a thread with this but I was wondering if anyone has taken these shots? My OB wants to start me on Makena injections at 14 weeks (I'm about 7 weeks now) since my daughter was born 4 weeks early (but still a pretty good size baby IMO at 6 lbs 13oz, and 21.5 inches long). Thankfully she didn't require further hospitalization and is now a happy, healthy 4 year old.
Anyway, I'm just a little concerned with taking it but I do not want another preterm birth as I'm worried about the chances that this one could come earlier... Any and all input would be appreciated!

Hey hunni didnt wanna read and run cant really offer any advice as its not something ive been through in fact all my babies were overdue!

I'd probably do as much research as possible first (im sure you have/are)
