Low platelets?

Hi

When I have had my blood tests done twice now I have been asked to come back and have a repeat platelets test done as I have a slightly lower then normal platelet count. I haven't seen my midwife yet as don't have another appointment with her for another 5 weeks so haven't been able to ask about it and blood test lady didn't really explain why or give me any explanation. Any one else had this? Or know of any reason why they are lower?

no sorry.. you can always ring your midwife up and make an appointment with her earleir if you are concerned or go to ur gp xx

Did you find out the problem. as i have had repeat blood tests due to high platelets. Im bit worried
