I have had quite a low bump for the whole pregnancy. Was just wondering if this meant anything at all?

probably not nikki as were in the same boat, my bump has not been high at all like last time, and have not felt short of breath at all or had problems eating all my dinner!

i have a really low bump and have all the way thru but i still cant eat all my dinner its crap!!! i dont think it means anything to be honest its just an individual thing.

xxxxx

My bump has always been low, well since I started showing. I've had girls come up to me and say "oh my bump didn't go like that till just before I gave birth"
Everyone always has to have an opinion about my bump and it does me head in :wall:

I've heard that if you "carry low" it's a girl, but if you "carry high" it's a boy.
Sounds a bit sexist to me

Have you looked at the Tummy Pics thread Nikki? You'll see there's a whole variety of bump sizes and heights on there. We are all different and will carry our babies differently.

My bump was also low until about 35 weeks and in the last 5-6 weeks it seems to have got higher if anything. This goes against what they say about your "bump dropping" ready for LO's delivery.

Mine is low too and has been all the way along - makes wearing maternity jeans a bit more difficult cos they cant fit over, and they fall down if they're under the bump jeans lol Don't think it means anything - people keep telling me 'that'll never stay in until 40 weeks', but I'm 36 and a half now and no signs of it coming out anytime soon!

I think with me it could be the way the baby is laying. She is laying across and not head down.
I read that if babys are laying across then you have to havea C section so I hope she moves

I dont know if my bump is high or low  It just seems to be everywhere :?

I've heard that too but honestly I've got a LOW bump and I'm expecting a BOY so that throws that theory out the water. Honestly I don't think you can classify girl/boy by the bump, like most things with pregnancy most of it is all just old wives tales!!
