Has anyone ever been to a loud gig whilst being pregnant?
Hoping it doesn't set me off into early labour, midwife says its ok but just wondered what the rest of you thought?

I always thought it could damage their hearing? But if a midwife has said it'll be fine then I'm sure it will!

I have a football derby when I hit 37 weeks so I'm guessing that will be pretty loud and I'm praying it sets things off for me haha!

    Enjoy hun xxx

No experiance but dont think it would be a problem I know babies can hear things but there is your body and loads of fluid surrounding them so it would be a bit like listening to the gig underwater which muffles alot of the sound. I wouldnt worry about it hun go and enjoy yourself xx

I've heard the fluid can amplify the noise, I had concert tickets but didn't go in the end. I think it depends on type of music, venue etc x

I went to a loud concert at 30 weeks. No problems then and Joshua is perfectly fine now. :) x
