Can anyone tell me what to expect? We will soon be flying 3000 miles, then a week later the same distance, and again one week after that, then two weeks later again. I'm a bit... worried. Jacob will be about 10 months at that time. Would it be worth the extra £200 (!) for his own seat on two of the flights?

We flew with Aaron a few weeks ago to Florida and it was a 9 hour flight. He had his own basonette and next time he flies we will have to get him his seat because basonettes maximum weight is 9 kg and Aaron is already 8.5. He was 4 months at the time and nowjust over 5 months. We will be flying to Italy in 2 weeks and then when he is 7 months to Dubai. We had a good flight so far with him, he was a dream baby. have checked with docs and they say it is fine. During take off and landing make sure he is sucking on something ie dummy or milk.

Good luck

Prebook your seats at the bulkhead of the plane and you will get a fold down basenette or bouncy chair for him, plus there is more room for all the extra baby stuff you need to carry.

To be honest I dont think all the flying will be a problem.
