Hi All,

wondering if anyone can help with some advice!

My Aunt is nearly 41 and has recently got married to a feet man. My Aunt has 2 kids from a previous marriage and he ha one. They would like to have a nanny of their own...

My aunt is obviously concerned that she may be too old to conceive again. Also with her last pregnancy (14 yers ago) she had to have one of her ovaries removed- was quite a traumatic birth I believe. So, as she says, that is another things she has against her- having just one ovary.

Has anyone here had a similiar experiance... Or knows someone like my aunt who has fallen pregnant? Or does anyone have some food tips to help her fall pregnant?

Thanks!

i cant give advice as i dont know anyone in that age bracket to be preggers...my mum was 37 when she had my lil bro tho and she was fine, they just monitored her a little extra than other women that were preggers....im sure your aunt will be fine..

i too only have one ovary, i got the fallopian tube and ovary removed about 3yrs ago, i concieved no problem, i sugest that your aunt starts monitoring her ovulation by doing the opk kits, can get cheapo ones off ebay, that way she will know that shes ovulation etc...

hope everything goes ok x

Tell her to get some advice from her doctor. Im 36 this thursday (oh god) and i was told if im healthy then i should have no problem getting pregnant again. Just told i would need to get my anti-D injection asap after getting pregnant cause of my blood group.

tell her to chart her temperature thats a really good thing to do and my nan and mum were pregnant at the same time and i think my nan was 40 or 41 so it can happen :) just think about that woam that was 60 or summat and had a baby :) she could always do the pillow under bum, orgasum after, dont go to the bathroom and get rid of 'things' have sex every other day, and just relax take folic acid when ttc as well :) x
