Link between dental issues and fertility

We've been having difficulty TTC and my OH has had energy problems, which haven't helped. Then a month ago we found out a filling he had had years ago hadn't been done properly and the tooth had gone bad inside and been running him down for ages. When I started reading I found that dental problems are really bad news for fertility for men and women and also affect sex drive...you might not even know you have them. Just worth thinking about...even the GP didn't pick it up with blood tests.

There's also thought to be a link between gum disease/teeth cleanliness problems and miscarriage... They're not sure why but there does seem to be a connection.
