Less titty more tippy!!!

Hi and thank you for reading!

I'm a bit stuck with my stubborn little mare. She's been ebf from birth now 9 months and is doing really well with weaning except that whenever I give her her tippy cup she just chews on the mouthpiece and doesn't seem to be actually drinking from it. I'm trying to wean her onto to just 2 breast feeds a day (morning and evening) and I'm not really getting anywhere!

Did you get anywhere with this hun? I am having the exact same issue; he thinks his sippy cup is a chew toy........I feel like I have waited too long to get him onto it properly...... arrgghhh!

Yeah I did not let her get thirsty but I waited till I was pretty sure she would want a drink then gave it to her, she's quite petite (9 1/2 months and just over 15lb) so I lay her back a little and helped her hold it and she managed. Good luck with urs xx
