Leaky boobs

hey girls just a quick question.
has anyone else has a leak from their boobs before the baby was born? I think my boob was leaking earlier tonight, but i didnt think that you got milk until after the baby was born? am i going crazy? please tell me this has happended to someone else. It was like one big dribble from my boob (sort of like a tear) and it felt slighty sticky.

Hi, yeah it probably was leaking. Never happened to me but my mate leaked from quite early, like 6 months or something. Dont know why some do and some dont, i never had anything till baby latched on. x

I heard that you do get leaking in 3rd tri, my MW told me it was likely......

& I just found this on pregnancy.lovetoknow.com:

Even during pregnancy, your body is preparing to produce breast milk. You may notice in the third trimester that you’re leaking colostrum, or early milk.
After your baby is born, his/her suckling at your breast signals your body to start producing nutrient-rich milk. Your baby’s cry actually signals your body’s let-down-reflex. This is why your breasts may leak when you hear a baby cry, even if he/she is not your own child.

I was told last time i saw m/w i could leak colostrum from now as my boobs are ready to go into production as it were.

h. visitor also said if i squezed them i would be suprised there was colostrum already there but have no desire to sqeze my boobs to find out

Yes its completely normal, my friend leaked early in her pregnancy and was worried, but some women do and others dont till after baby is born.
If its gets uncomfy but some breast pads

I'm leaking already since (sod knows) about 20 wks?

Thought nothing of it at first but had a little squeeze and yep

Not had to use breastpads as yet though, but occasionally i get a tingly feeling and the odd little drop will come out.
