My DD is 16 days old today. She is getting to grips with latching on correctly and my nipples are almost completely healed after bleeding quite alot the first few days. The problem is towards the end of the feed she seems to slip off a bit and just sucks my nipple which is really painful. Is it ok to detach her at this point or will she miss out on the hind milk? Ive just taken her off now and shes fast asleep so my attenpts at re offering her my breast have failed.
