We have learning support teachers in our secondary school.

What don't you like about primary?

I wanted to teach maths, hence the experience in secondary.

I think the pgce is a lot of work though, so probably not sometimg I will do until my kids are in school. While they are young I like the idea of working part time with no overtime! In the mean time I'm gaining invaluable experience and learning so much already by watching the different teaching methods.

I just think being a teacher takes over your life big time, all the planning and reports and everything . And it's all about results, lots of children get left behind. I'd like to focus on those that need it most. I love the primary age, secondary is too scary!
