My lap is provisionally booked for next month. Very nervous. They are going to remove my endo cyst on ovary and any other endo they find. I am happy they are doing it but terrified also.
I had a hsg yesterday, my right tube was clear, she said she is sure she saw the fluid go through the left side but was harder to see. So I am thinking the tube may be stuck down cos of endo. I will get the full results of hsg in july. Does anyone know if they can unstick tubes during a lap? Has anyone else had a cyst removed, I am scared incase my ovary has to be removed, she said this will only happen if there is alot of bleeding and wld be last resort x

Hi Lisey, so glad your HSG was okay, such good news. You'll be nice and fertile now

I was meant to have a laparoscopy for my PID but in the end they had to go in full force and I had a laparotomy. My surgeon spoke to me about having my tube repaired (before my HSG) and he said I would have to go to specialist unit in Cardiff rather the hospital I had my op at, so whether they would be able to do it as part of the lap I don't know, Unfortunately I lost my ovary during my laparotomy because my infection had damaged it so bad, but I'm expected to O every month as usual and my cycles are still regular etc etc. I was devastated but now I'm 7 months on it's okay. Although we'll see how long it takes me to get my bpf - I guess that's the proof of whether everything's good or not. Best of luck xx

Thanks for your reply. I dont know if the tube is damaged, I dont even know if its stuck down, just coming to my own conclusions, as usual lol. Will have to wait and see I guess.
I hope you're not waiting long for your bfp x
