Just had 12 wk Scan

Hi

Very quick as should be working but too excited. Just had scan at 12w 2d and all well. Baby woke up and kicked and made a big fuss. Very beautiful - even saw hands and feet. Now have lovely picture (much better than 9 w scan which I posted earlier) which I will add tonight. Must go before get caught by boss.

Ohhhh, cant wait for my 12 week, still aint had it yet, shud be having it in the next week. How exciting I hope my little bean is lively and awake when I have it.

Can legally post now as it's lunchtime.

It was lovely. The poor thing was asleep on its back and when the sonographer pushed down the babe tried to escape by turning over, then gave up and wriggled about. I still can't believe the detail of the fingers and knees and feet and everything.

There was one scarey moment when the babe turned to face us and I thought it looked like an alien . It was gently explained to me that the huge holes I could see were the fluid sacks in the brain and not the eyes (phew!). The eyes were lower and a normal shape thank god.
