Just got a letter about an antenatal appointment. Bit confused

I got a letter in the post about an antenatal appointment with a maternity care assistant. It's not too far from me which is great but confused what to expect. My next midwife appointment is the week before. I'm gonna have to see about changing time anyways. I have a mobile number on the letter but don't like calling people at the weekend. I have no idea what this appointment would involve and how long it would be. Tried looking in to it but just refers to midwife appointments and scans.

Ring them on Monday and ask them to explain what this appointments for etc. Hopefully when you know things will be clearer! never had this myself so I have no advice for you otherwise. Sorry! Xxx
