The hospital I usually give birth in is being regenerated (or something) and the maternity unit is moving to one a bit closer to where I live now. Will be a 20 min drive.
There is a local birthing centre, but I prefer the hospital. I have no idea what the new unit will be like, I guess I'll have to discuss it with my midwife when I see her.
I guess it'll mean a tour of the new ward when its finally open!
