millie loves sliding around in slipperiness lately

she waits until her nappy is off and while im fetching a fresh one she wees on the floor and i come back to see her on her knees, delightedly sliding her hands around in it (we got laminate floors)

then when i stand her in the bath to wash her down, she does the same in there with the water, the shallow layer of water on the smooth surface i think she likes.

she will also bash her cup until enough juice comes out of it either on the floor or the high chair so she can slide her hands in it.

and todayi gave her one of her favourites a bowl of cherry tomatoes and the slimey seedy goo inside that dribbled out she was doing it with that too!

think she might enjoy some kind of play area with slippery stuff in it! can u get sandpits that are filled with something else instead (like jelly etc)? maybe paddling pools but its getting too cold for them now, and not having water indoors! :talkhand:

You can buy stuff called jelly baff, let me find a link... you add a powder to turn the bath water into jelly, then at the end another one that turns it back to water!

http://www.gellibaff.co.uk/

I thought this too, but couldn't remember what it was called. I saw the advert on telly the other day!

why not let her play with real jelly, the if she eats it there's no worries. jellibaff is made with the gel you find in disposable nappies, i'd not want a bath in that.

I'd be too scared it didnt turn back to water and I was left with goo in my bath.... I always think the worst!
