We like the name Jacob for one of our twins but just wanted to check it's ok to choose if you're not Jewish?

My son is called Jakob. I love the name!!! You don't have to be Jewish, Jacob is quite a Christian name too.

My non Jewish cousin is a Jacob.

It's a pretty mainstream name as far as Hebrew names go.

I'm sure lots of people who use aren't even aware it's Hebrew.

We named our little boy Jacob...love the name...and we are not Jewish. He's mainly called jake or jakey because he's young....in laws always call him Jacob
