We've tried him a couple of times before with baby rice but he just spat it out, no interest at all, but today, after feeling he's showing lots of signs he's ready for weaning, I boiled and mashed up some apple and he sat and ate lots from my finger :cheer:
I tried feeding him some with the spoon and he straight spat it out :puke: so he definitely don't like spoons but he loves apple, he was launching at my finger as I moved it close to his mouth, so happy for him, he had a taste of something other than milk :cheer:

Jude loves apple too, think it's the sweetness! Glad Isaac enjoyed it too

Oh, I am glad Isaac enjoyed that. It's funny, because I started Anaïs on fruit puree yesterday (I blended a little orange juice, 1/4 apple and 1/4 banana) and she loved it too!
Its a bit different with weaning in Spain. The doctors recommend starting with fruit instead of baby rice. Seems to work tho.
Ani seems to be ok with the spoon, maybe if you just "play" with it for a while, a week or two, not actually putting into mouth, just wetting in the apple and wetting his lower lip a bit, til he gets the idea. That worked for me with my eldest.
Hope it helps
