Is this cheeky?

awww hun i dont know what to say, just wanted to offer you a  he sounds like an arse hole.

if i was you i would have walked out by now, i cant stand people like that, or try and get fired and take him to tribunal for unfair dissmissal.

your being very brave to stick it, but tbh if its stressing you that much go to dr and get a sick note

That's so horrible. I don't know how they manage to get away with it!

Hope you are ok though. Don't let the you know what's get you down!

Thanks
After sleeping on it I've decided I'm not gonna put my self through it I'm gonna go to work and as soon as he starts I'll just walk away. I don't want to quit as I've been there 2 years longer than him and he'll see it as winning, but I cannot afford to put my baby at risk coz of this stress!

He's not at work today so at least it'll be a quiet one!

xxx

give him a good peace of ur mind.. i cant beleive the way he is acting with u.. he def is an arehole..

I'd not work Boxing Day. Not if its going to cost you £60 to get there. That's really unreasonable of him to expect anyone to do that.

I'd go see your Doc the week beforehand and tell him you are stressed and exhusted because of the pregnancy etc and get him to sign you off till after Christmas. I'm sure he won't mind.

Unless of course you are going to leave earlier so it won't be a problem for you. You are entitled to move your maternity leave forward. So long as he has the appropriate notice which if you let them know ASAP it should be fine and you won't have to worry over Christmas. Even if its not, I'd go sick then until it starts. He can't do anything about it.

But what an arse of a boss he is. Don't let him get away with treating you like this. You have rights by law and he can't ignore them. You are allowed to take time of for maternity related appointments etc and he can't do much about it. Other than whine to others

Hang in there, its not long till you are out of it and on maternity leave

I would call in sick if i were you - maybe something pregnancy related.

Act as though you are fine about working it now and then just call in sick and start your maternity leave early. Hope you get this sorted out x x x

I would definately get signed off for that week and start your leave early. No job is worth the stress. Look at poor Debecca, her employers were awful too, but she soldiered on. She had to get signed off in the end because she was too stressed and tired to continue.

Look after yourself and you baby, you are MUCH more importnant than that idiot at work.

Do this!

I agree, go to the doctor, explain the situation and try and get him to sign you off for that week. If that fails I'd just phone in sick on boxing day with a pregnancy related problem. They can't prove anything

I've made an appointment to see my doctor on the 21st with every intention of being signed off christmas week. Thanks for your support I was too worried about what he will say behind my back but now I couldn't care less and know I need to put my baby's health first

That is excellent news! Take good care of yourself

Good for you - hope the GP is a nice one and gives you what you want x x x

What a tosser.

Good that you've made an appointment at the docs. If you're going to go off on maternity leave anyway at 30 weeks then you could easily be signed off a couple of weeks prior to this. You'll be able to smile away to yourself knowing you've landed him in the shit
