Is it the Iron Tablets? (Way TMI!!!!)

Hi ladies, I'll apologise now for the TMI, but..

Can iron tablets turn your poop green?

I've just been to the loo, and had a very soft movement, and it was green?!
Normally iron tablets make it hard to go, so I'm very confused.

I don't think its anything I've eaten.
Yesterday I had: Banana, Branflakes, Turkey & Coleslaw Sandwich, Milky Bar & Toast.
Today I had: Breakfast Bar, Ham & Cheese Sandwich, Banana, Chicken Pita Breads & Salad.

I've not ate anything strange/different to normal.

Any ideas??

Don't wana ring delivery at this time for something like this lol.

Yes defo the iron! When I started my tablets, I produced a fetching shade of khaki green

See I've been on them a while and normally..
I find it hard to pass, and its very hard/dark (Almost black)
So I've also been given lactalose to help pass poop.

So now I'm confused? Lol x

I only have to take one and at first it was green then got darker lol vile x

I've had to take 2 a day from really early on, cause they weren't sure if I was anemic or had thalassemia (a blood condition) And they've done my bloods regular all the way through, but my iron levels seem to stay the same? (Low) x

Mine has been black to almost navy blue from the iron
