I just sellotape Ailas soother to her mouth. She knocks it out - she screams. Shes half asllep forgets to suck it falls out - she screams. She turns her head it falls out she screams. Is it possible to go back in time and just not give it to her. It is the number one thing that makes night time sleeping so bloody difficult. Rant over.

Abi does this, although for her its a game if she doesn't think she is gettin enough attention! OH has has often said he would tape it to her so she can't do it!! But one thing is once she is in a deep enough sleep she doesn't wake for it. Does she wake up even if she is in a deep sleep or is it just as she is drifting off? Xx

LMAO we threatened to do this the other day......

No once shes in a deep sleep its spat out and not wanted until she has woken up. Honestly though they need to invent super sucky soothers that once placed in mouth are literally suctioned to babys mouth :) I dunno im not a scientist but there must be a solution ! Id love to try take her off it but i just couldnt even imagine the nightmare that would be !

You could lay a muslin cloth around her neck so it supports the soother. We did this for some time and than we just removed the muslin cloth when she had fallen asleep. If she really wanted it out, or cry, she managed to do that, so it wasn't dangerous or anything:)

Thats a good idea! Sometimes im lucky if it falls out close enuf to her she will put her hand up and push it back in .. im still trying to get it on video cause bless her it does her annoy her so much too that sometimes I check on her and she has her hand on her soother basically making sure it doesnt fall out again :)
