Internal 'stable' doors

Anyone know if you can get them or seen them?

I am thinking about for Hebe's room......instead of a baby gate being able to keep the top part open.....or am I mental....

No idea but I like the idea of that instead of a gate - except that she wouldn't be able to see through (maybe that's a good thing not being shut in but also not being able to see somewhere you want to be and can't get to?)

Yeah I havent really thought it through (as you can tell!) but I feel like we're gonna end up with a million gates every where because of the lay out of the house.....

My BIL is a joiner....he'll know....

I'm sure you could convert a normal door if you wanted one. I could do it for you with a saw and some sandpaper ...and one of those little hook and eye things for the wall - like a giant bra clip... you know what I mean don't you?

ooo that's a really good idea!! you could always have them with a port hole in the bottom so they can see thru with reinforced school window type glass so they cant break it!

you can get nice stair gates tho, that one you've got at the top of your stairs is well nice!!

I know it is nice but you know how all the doors are on to that landing there.....well I just have visions of effin gates at every door!

lol i can picture it now!! what about flexi gates? they're a pain in the arse for stairs and thing, but for blocking a room off they're ok. plus it means you can just whip them off when they're in bed or if you've got people coming round or whatever

i'm like a bag of nerves atm, there's so much for katie to hurt herself on and stuff in here! she loves the telly and the sky box, mum's got a huge fireplace that i'm constantly moving her away from cos she'd crack her skull if she fell on it. radiators, bookshelves, dogs food, dogs bed, pulling the dogs friggin blanket out from under him...the list goes on and on!!

our back door is a stable door so i can have it open without the kids getting outside i think its a great idea and i might just steal it for Ffions room because her room theme is going to be flower garden/farmyard!!!

its going to have a white fence like this http://www.thedecoratingideasite.com/images/3rdbedroom_500.jpg going round the room, and my brother is going to paint a big tree in one corner with the branches going up on the ceiling, and instead of the walls being pink like in that picture my bro is going to paint grass with sky and clouds.. and on the oppisite wall to the tree my bro is going to paint a barn and theyll be a cow poking its head over the fence too with flowers everywhere!
