Basically is it safe in pregnancy? My sinuses are driving my crazy at minute. Are really sore and when I blow my nose it bleeds. I really don't know what I can take and DH suggested vicks. Any answers would be appreciated. :)

I've been using vicks in a steamy bowl with a towel over my head, not very elegant but doesthe trick, I only do it for about 10-15 minutes before my back starts hurting :)

Hope you feel better soon xxx

your not suppose to use it topicially on your skin, as it has clove oil in or something. I used it last time to no ill effects but I was 20 weeks plus. I am desperate for something to soothe and ease my throat and nose but I know our not suppose to use oblas oil or vicks at all :(

Friars balsam says on instructions that if used properly shouldn't have any ill effects on pregnancy. I only put wee bit in bowl of boiling water and inhale for few minutes with towel over head. Attractive lol
