Just spreading the word that new guidelines were released today (the first update since 2008) on managing identical/monochorionic twin pregnancies, if anyone is interested. I found that I sometimes had to fight for the right care, and these guidelines have been a real help with that so you know what to expect at scans and what kind of monitoring to push for.
I'm going to discuss it with my consultant tomorrow because the new guidelines state scan every 2 weeks from 16 weeks until delivery, and my hospital have been offering scans every 4 weeks from 24 weeks so I need to ask for a few more.
