Hi ladies, for those going on holiday this summer, infants under 2 get their own 10kg baggage allowance!
I had no idea, I had to read the small print on the websites. I was panicking about only having enough space for one pair of knickers after packing all of jacks stuff!
They just don't like to mention it when you book so you end up going over on your own baggage and having to pay. Cheeky!
It does have to be in its own little bag though to be packed away in the hold.
Weight off my mind! :)

Ooo I knew they had 10kg but I thought it was just for prams/travel cots/etc!
The amount of clothes she's taking will fill my big suitcase *cry* haha
Good to know! x

They also usually get 5kg carry on allowance too for bottles, toys blankets and other baby stuff x

Is this with all airlines I am going with easy get and they have given me no extra for ruby , only the hand luggage x

Have a look on the website, they don't come out and tell you about it but on most of them I've read that when an adult pays for a seat and they get have luggage then automatically the baby gets 10kg. But I can't imagine a baby not travelling with an adult so it's silly! Xxx

We flew thomson and we got our own 10 kg baggage for lo. She had her own suitcase ajd we did get told at booking x

Think I will give easy jet a ring tomorrow x
