Induction after first pregnancy....

Just out of interest for next time (not yet!) i'm just wondering for those who were induced with their first did they need to be induced with further pregnancies? I was induced with Ellie and hope for a homebirth next time but i'm worried I wont be able to have one as i'll have to be induced again.... Thanks x

I think it depends on what you were induced for.

If it was just because you were overdue, then I can't see why they wont let you have a homebirth.

i was induced with my 1st and 2nd because of pre-eclampsia my 3rd came 2 days late and was spontaneous!

it depends on how your pregnancy goes if it goes smoothly then i dont see why you wouldnt be able to have a homebirth, you are best speaking to your midwife! good luck for your homebirth
