I'm new -- TTC after tubal sterilisation reversaion

Hi everyone

After being sterilised in 2004, last week I had the sterilisation reversed. (I learned my expensive lesson -- never say never!)

Now, once my next AF turns up and goes, the surgeon has said we are good to TTC.

I'm nervous! My youngest son is almost 11, so it had been a while since I have been pregnant. I was 37 in March and add to that the fact that there are no guarantees of pregnancy success after a reversal, and I'm trying to remain optimistic but realistic at the same time.

I am using the Clearblue Fertility Monitor as my cycles are somewhat irregular (last one was 42 days ), so I'll probably have some questions to do with that at some point.

Anyway, enough of my nervous ramblings. Please keep your fingers crossed for us, we would so love to have a baby together and will need some good luck.

Anyone else here trying after a tubal reversal?

Hello and welcome. Yes as lynette says you should try and catch up with JJs mum as she is in a similar but not identical position. She has a ttc journal if you want to pop in there and find her xx
