I'm leaving work early!! :D

Well my official start date for maternity leave is the 6th January but today I got some good news.

I put it to the deputy head that I finish at the end of term as they owe me some hours and a day in lieu. I wasnt sure he'd buy it as my replacement starts on 4th Jan and I thought he might want me to do a quick run down for them before I go.....BUT he was my man from Del Monte and HE SAY YES!!

So I leave on the 16th December.....FOREVER!!

Thats great news. I've decided i'm leaving my job at 30 weeks (mid feb) i get to take 5 weeks hols first so my mat leave will start at 35 weeks. Seems a life time away, i'm so jelous you get to start soon xx

Oooh well done, how exciting...wish I could afford to leave work early but I'm afraid I'll be working until the day she/he is born!
