Well hello again. I have introduced myself twice over the past year and a half or so but keep disappearing off. I got pregnant last Febuary while I was living in England and found you wonderful ladies. Unfortunately I miscarried and stopped checking the forum afterwards. I signed on again when my husband and I decided to start trying more religiously a while back... but we were in the middle of moving across to the States (that's where I'm from)...and even though most of your girls are from the Uk... I always come back to this forum when we talk about starting our family.
So... Hello ...and I plan to stay a while this time.
With the introduction out of the way... I have to say.. I have been lurking about the past week...and isn't it crazy how hooked you get on this forum. When I read someone's story...or they say they are testing soon... I check the forum like every hour waiting to see what's happened. You guys are all so supportive and I hope to make lots of baby-bulge-buddies on here.
Now for my situation for those who are interested... My DH and I have never really prevented getting pregnant... but it just hasn't happened. I use to always be really regular... but since my miscarriage at 8wks last April 06 they were all over the place. They finally got back to normal for a month or two over Christmas 06. Then in Feb of this year... I went two months without having a AF. THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED! I had never missed a month ever...no matter how irregular. So I went to my Ob/gyn (in America you don't have to wait for referrals and stuff...it's great to go right to the specialist!!! lol) he perscribed progestorone (sp) to make me have a AF but that very next day I started before taking any and it was a normal AF (thank goodness) ... Later he checked me for PCOS as the midwife back in the UK suspected it as my ovaries looked a bit cystic on my ultrasound that confirmed my miscarriage. He ruled that out pretty much...thank God... we are now going to start looking into my ovulation and whether or not I ovulate regularly. Fingers crossed I do. This month I am going to start charting temps and CM etc ...and we are getting serious about this.
Having said all that... I feel so Pregnant. I am on cycle day 32 (but I usually have 30-35 day cycles) I am going to test next weekend if AF hasn't reared her ugly head. My symptoms are headaches, sleepiness, my stomach feels like it has expanded 10 inches! and my shoulders and back feel really tense like they did with my first pregnancy before.
So sorry for this monster post...I'll keep it shorter next time. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for reading...
Jamie
