I'm at hospital... In labour!

OK, so we got to hospital at 3pm, given a bed, then didn't get seen until 4.15 pm!
Was put on monitor and then midwife did internal check so she could put hormone pessary thing in... However she said I was 2 cm, so no pessary needed... Sweep and then will have waters broken...
The labour ward is really busy, but I am next in line to go to my own little labour room and have waters broken.
Had show about 30 mins ago, and been having period pains since the midwife did sweep... But she was up there at least 15 mins!! And it was really uncomfortable. Can't sleep as there is a woman snoring like a hippo, and a woman moaning all the time.... My best advice ladies is bring ear plus or head phones and ipod or phone to block out all the noise!!
Will update when I get moved!

So glad I didn't have to have hormones...
