    Hey everyone
Just been for my routine scan/ doctors appointment and he has found that there could be a problem with my baby's brain, that the blood flow through the ventricles doesn't look right. He's got me an appointment with a specialist in Bordeaux on the 29th of June, (I work in France for most of the year!)

I just don't know what to think or how to feel right now, just trying not to panic!!

    :(
    Xx

Aww Nat I hope you're okay, I would be terrified too, I hope that you can just keep positive until your appointment but that is a couple of weeks away which isn't very nice for you to just be left for that long not knowing! Just try and keep positive until that day and keep everything crossed that there's nothing to worry about, I have my fingers crossed for you! xxx

Stay positive my friend was also told something similar to this at her 20 week scan but turned out by was perfectly fine they're probably sending you to someone more specialised to be cautious and make sure

Thank you all! I'm takin it as a positive that my appointment isn't for two weeks, because with the French healthcare system if they think there is an immediate serious problem then they will get you seen ASAP,
So im preparing myself for worst case scenario, I'm getting all my work up straight and ensuring my teams know what they are doing in case I have to go back to England after the appointment, if so then I'm prepared, if I don't then it's a bonus!
It's gonna be a long two weeks!! :( xx

I dont blame you for being scared. Sometimes these things turn out to be nothing. I hope that is it in your case.

I wouldnt eat junk just for the sake of more calories. You only need slightly more in pregnancy anyway. Have you tried eating something like fresh fruit or nuts? I find it hard to eat a lot of foods because of sickness but just try to eat what I fancy without eating much junk. I think your body will generally tell you if you need more of something.
