I know that technically speaking, a woman can conceive at any point, whether on or off birth control. However, i came off the birth control pill Noriday (minipill) around 12 days ago. Had a "come off withdrawal bleed" where i had brown discharge for a day or two, then a few days ago i had my cervical mucus start, which ive been told is a sign you're ovulating. Does this now mean that i can begin to start trying to conceive? or could already be pregnant (if i'm very lucky!) :)

Its possible you are in your fertile period of your cycle, or yes, it's possible that you are pregnant already. The best way (I find) to judge when you are ovulating and therefore the best time to try for a baby is by using ovulation predictor kits which can be purchased cheaply and are easy to use x

I conceived immediately after coming of the pill, didn't have any period, finished pill boxing day, "period" week and conceived 6th feb :)
