And Id love to nip it in the bud now but she doesn't take dummys :(.

Is it a worry if she only does it occasionally?

My LO has discovered hers too. I'm quite pleased though as she doesn't take dummies either and now that she can find her thumb she's become great at soothing herself for naps and bedtime without crying. Bonus!

Goes without saying that she doesn't need my help to find it if she wakes in the middle of the night lol. I don't really see it as a problem though. Apparently I used to be a very enthusiastic thumb sucker as a baby but grew out of it before I was 3.

Kynon sucks his too and won't take dummy, seems easier just now than a dummy! Im not sure you can stop it at this age unless you leave scratch mitts on

It's loads easier having a thumb or finger sucker, well I think so! It's always there, they can find it etc I was a thumb sucker until I was 8 and my teeth aren't affected by doing it x
