I just heard the baby's heart beat for the 1st time!!

Hi all I hired a doppler from baby beats and it has just arrived, my OH is at work so he hasnt heard it but my god what a relaxing sound. It makes all seem even more real than just having the scan which I had on Weds and have a lovely clear pic from. I have to say though once I found it I was pretty sure it wasnt mine was v fast! but checked my own heartbeat and was def slower. So now I know my little one is safe and sound. Think I might get addicted to using it though. My parents are on holiday until weds I managed to email my scan pics. Mum v excited as I'm an only child so 1st grandchild and all that so cant wait for them to come home and let them here their grandchild in there alive and well.

Anyone out there that has been anxious or worried, have your scan and then hire one of these because it really puts your mind at rest!
