I heard my babys heartbeat!!

Well I ordered an Angelsounds Fetal doppler off ebay and OMG it was amazing!! could hear his her little hearbeat pumping away, sounded bit slow though for some reason.

Should i be worried

I'd have thought it'd be too early to hear a hb on a Doppler at 7 weeks hon- although I'm not certain about that. Don't want to state the obvious bu do you think there may be any chance you picked up your own hb?

Noo I didnt mine was alot faster and louder babys was like a train chuggering and really faint x

Your babys heartbeat is a lot faster than our own. I thought i found the HB first time and it was my pulse on the side by my groin (we have it on both sides)...thought it was the babys though as it sounded like a train but when i counted the beats it was way under 100. Your baby should be between 120 and 180 i think. Try and count it for 10 seconds and multiply it by 6..you should get your beats per minute then.

It really is a wonderfull sound isn't it?!

Your lucky to be able to do that as my midwife said they dont even normally try until 10-12 weeks as the baby is behind the pubic bone mostly and dopplers dont work through bone? cool if you have though x

I got the heartbeat near my belly button :S .. it was a proper heartbeat though and not mine
I wonder then If i am infact futher on than I think

blimey im quiet shocked have you had a dating scan yet hun as that sounds quiet high up and early for doppler great news on hearing it tho

^^^^ As above I'm amazed that you found it there that's so high up for how far along you are! x there's so many different opinions on how fast it should be at 7 weeks I've heard that it should be 90-110,110-160, 120-160 etc etc so I'm not sure x yay if it is your baby's hb!

i found the heart beat at 11 weeks with the angel sound doppler suprised you found it that early but if you have did thats brill xx

might ask my mw for a dating scan when she makes an apearance.. But last Af was 23rd febuary and my aparent conception date was 9th march

Mine states 14-16 but I kind of got a hearbeat, I found my pulse on it and that sounded like a train where as when I found the heartbeat lower down it was a heartbeat quite fast aswell tbh x

wowwee thats amazing, cant wait to here my babba on my scan next monday- no idea how old baby is so dont know how much ill see but hopefully be a good pic- booked in for a private scan because I know my last definite period was about 9 weeks ago but the last time i bled about 5 weeks ago was only for like a day and was nothing much at all so now i think that was implantation bleeding but whooo knows gosh this pregnancy malarky is exciting stuff isnt it!!! :-D

yes I love it me bit gutted morning sickness hasnt kicked in yet because thats meant to be a good sign that baby is a sticky

I've been trying to find mine since about 8 weeks but no luck Where would I find it? Not sure if I'm looking in the right place?? x x

Vixxie - I first found the heartbeat at 15 weeks and found it really really low and to the left, around my hairline really, just try looking really low
