I never rant about the OH but since getting home from work 25 minutes ago he has well & truly did my head in !

As soon as I came through the door you could smell immediatley and quite powerful that the cat has peed somewhere. I could smell it yesterday but was'nt sure but today its clear. I'm sure on its on the stairs carpet. I've gone up & down on my hands and knees sniffing & just cant bloody find it but its STINKS & driving me insane. Making me really angry typing this by how horrendous my house is smelling because of a lazy cat! (Shes been medically/behavior checked shes fine - just lazy) - I know its not the litter tray as I do that every morning without fail.

So I went into kitchen, dogs bouncing everywhere as its dinner time for them, I was left to control them & sort out the feeding for them. to the cats chasing me everywhere for their food to the bloody smell on my stairs. Whilst he is ready out of his work clothes relaxing on the bed chilled out in his PJ's watching some rubbish on his iPad.

I said to him- "Give me a hand & find this pee, I cant cope with that smell" He just shrugged and carried on watching the rubbish he was watching! To which he has no budged the last 10 minutes of me writing this either whilst stuffing Bourbons in my mouth stressing !!!!!!!

To which i'm even reacting to my thrush and scratching myself raw!

I'm like a crazy women, hair flying everywhere, going on my hands & knees up & down the stairs, scratching my foof! - (Please no one look through the window)

HORMONES!!!!

I'm really sorry I really know its not funny but I'm having a proper chuckle to myself picturing it!! Lol. Go throw something at him and tell him he needs to shift his arse to find and eliminate the smell or you'll eliminate him. :) xx

Tri hopping here but when you find the smell, rub his clean underpants in it and leave them out for him to wear to work tomorrow!

lol !

I've come out of the hormone bust now after some stress hovering of the landing & stairs plus unplugging the router by mistake ;)

I've been made a cuppa - feel bad now :-( I never rant about him, I was having a moment.

Still not found the wee though !!!

Everyone's entitled to a moment hun!! Tbh its nice to know that other people have rants too!! :) have to say I love the unplugging of the router!! ;) xx

Chuck a bucket of water over him!
Hope you find the pee ;-) x

Haha !

I've found the wee & so bloody excited that I had.

It was on the front door mat. So glad that I can just throw it out & not have the scrub the entire stairs ( That was tomorrows plan) - Just scrubbed the tiles in the hallway... Smells nearly gone now all windows are open. Damn cat ! I hope this don keep up with her.

Tri hopping here!

Make him clean the cats tray and pee! I'm very similar in which I also have a v. lazy cat who just can't be bothered to go outside, and infact wee'd against the door whilst looking at me yesterday!

But anyway, you shouldn't be anywhere near cat feces and the rest incase of toxoplasmosis! It's my OH's job now!

I agree I would have threw a bucket of water over him as well as unplugging the router. My husband is lovely but can be a bit lazy at times. I have always been a clean freak so I always do all the house work etc as well as working full time. Since I fell pregnant I haven't been very well so I have been struggling to keep up with house work etc. My parents are very close to my husband so when my mam rang the other night and he answered the phone she had a word with him. I can in yesterday and all the housework had been done :) result. Just have a quiet word with him and tell him you need a little bit more help now. xxxxx

I am with you on smells, since pregnant my sense of smell is so sensitive, I can.t have dirty dishes lying around for more than a minute. The food waste bin is rank and any fruit slightly on the turn and they are out. Glad you found the wee. Next time TV off and hide the remote.

Since finding out I'm pregnancy oh has done all the cat litter stuff - luckily he was there when the midwife told me I shouldn't go near it - tell him that - the least he can do is clean the cat litter and any random wees - you are growing a baby after all! Xxx
